ベニスは、必ず訪れたいと思っていた街です。運河に囲まれた水の都ベニス。ベネチアンマスクと言われるマスクを纏い仮面舞踏会が行われた時代や集った人に想いを馳せ、その特別な地でのロマンチックな出来事を想像しながら過ごしました。
運河と中世の町並みのコントラストがたまりませんでした。運河から木製ボートでホテルに乗り入れる特別感は幼少の頃より憧れていました。ベニスで行われたアミチエガラパーティーへの参加により、その夢が現実へと舞い降りてきました。パーティーへは、石畳の狭い路地を徒歩で向かいます。そのヒールの響き渡る音の余韻が心地よく感じました。
